Margret Gries, harpsichord

Margret is known for her expertise as a harpsichordist and organist, currently teaching continuo and directing the Collegium Musicum at the University of Oregon. Margret has also performed extensively on baroque violin and viola and was a founding member of several period instrument ensembles in the Pacific Northwest, including the Portland Baroque Orchestra and the Seattle Pro Musica (the original baroque orchestra in Seattle).

Colin Pip Dixon, violin

Colin is a violinist and composer born and raised in New York City. He lived and worked in Paris, France, for many years and arrived in Eugene in 2017. As artistic director of The Elsewhere Ensemble, he has performed throughout France and in Belgium, Scotland, Canada, Lebanon, and New York City. In Oregon, he has produced and performed Elsewhere Ensemble’s Chekhov Triptych, The Happy Prince, and Letter to Brahms.

Kathryn Brunhaver, cello

Kathryn currently lives in Eugene, Oregon, where she has appeared with the Oregon Bach Festival. She has also appeared at the Astoria Music Festival, and with the Rogue Valley Symphony, Elsewhere Ensemble, Amore Concert Series, Eugene Contemporary Chamber Ensemble, Harmonic Laboratory, and as Principal Cello with Orchestra NEXT.
