Appreciation for the Arts

As an arts organization, we appreciate the incredible contribution that creative people make to our community, and we look for any opportunity to support existing artists and encourage new ones.

Since 2010, Chamber Music Amici has solicited art work from Oregon artists to help promote our concerts. Their work graces the covers of our program books, highlights our concerts on our website, appears in social media posts, and more!

In return, artists have won cash prizes, and in past years, have had their work shown at the Emerald Art Center in Springfield, starting with their debut at a popular and well-attended annual reception, with food, music, and art on the program.

ART COMMISSION Winner 2026–2027

We are thrilled to announce the winner of this year’s art commission, Cindy Ingram, a leader in the Eugene arts scene for more than 20 years. She has created and managed music festivals, venues, galleries, businesses, and community-wide projects, long before she began creating abstract paintings.

It was 2023, following a New Year’s resolution of “being more artsy,” that Cindy went from arts promoter to prolific artist, showing her work throughout the Pacific Northwest and internationally. In 2026, she has also received the Hult Center Community Award for her submission to the Eugene Mayor’s Art Show.
