Once Upon A Time
Colin Pip Dixon’s original composition, The Rooster and the Fox, will blow you away; this musical storytelling for bassoon, piano, string quartet, and narrator should not be missed. Also on the program is Dohnanyi’s Piano Quintet No. 2.

Timeless chamber music by Mozart! Mozart’s Piano Quartet in E-flat Major was one of the very first written for this instrumentation. Also referred to as his “viola quintet,” Mozart’s String Quintet No. 2 in C Minor was a novel form during this time as well.

Fairy Tales
Clarinetist Wonkak Kim will join Amici for four clarinet trios; these chamber music jewels may even become your new favorites! We will also pay tribute to Victor Steinhardt, Amici’s former pianist and a founding member, and perform his composition, Running Blue.

French Masters
Fauré’s Piano Trio is one of the composer’s last works and showcases both elegance and beauty of the late French romanticism. The virtuosic violin sonata by Saint-Saëns and Reinhold Glière’s duets for violin and cello will make a wonderful compliments to the program.
